On Friday, October 23 from 10:00-2:00 ECS in conjunction with the Health Department will be hosting a flu-shot clinic in the Elementary Gym. The clinic is open to all students, parents, families, staff, and community members. However you MUST pre-register by calling the Health Department at 231-587-9840.
This is a scheduled remote learning day and as a result there is no in-person instruction.

ECS would like to say a big THANK YOU to Laura Migda from the Charlevoix Public Library and the Ethel Coeling fund for a completely new elementary library book collection. It looks great and the kids love it.


The Queen of Bling and Sparkle made her first appearance at the elementary school today! Students are starting the year off doing a great job of following the values.


Sixth graders in Mrs. Goslee's science class practiced their observation skills by examining marshmallows. Some of them really enjoyed exploring the texture and taste!



Elementary students have been releasing butterflies into the garden behind the school.


The 8th grade health class created their own variation of different games to promote healthy physical and social lifestyles. Today they played sticky glue volleyball.

The 6th graders and Mrs. Goslee enjoyed a mask break outside by playing "Noodle Tag" and maintaining social distance while having fun!
