Ellsworth Community School is pleased to announce the appointment of Nick Hopp as their new Athletic Director. Mr. Hopp, a dedicated and experienced educator, is a first-year math teacher at Ellsworth Community School. He brings a wealth of expertise to his new role, having previously served as a teacher and athletic director at Central Lake Public Schools. Before his tenure in Central Lake, Mr. Hopp was a teacher in South Carolina.
Expressing his excitement about joining Ellsworth Community School, Mr. Hopp stated, "I am honored and thrilled to be given the opportunity to lead the athletic programs in Ellsworth. Sports have always been a passion of mine, and I am committed to fostering an environment where student-athletes can excel both on and off the field. I look forward to working closely with the students, coaches, and the entire Ellsworth community to continue the school's tradition of athletic excellence."
Aaron Gaffney, the current Ellsworth superintendent and acting Athletic Director, shared his confidence in Mr. Hopp, stating, "We're extremely excited that Mr. Hopp has agreed to take on the role of AD in Ellsworth. He brings real knowledge to the position. His dedication to the development of student-athletes make him the ideal candidate for this important role."
