Web Masters

There is a lot of web-work happening behind the scenes at EHS. Log on anyone? Just click www.ellsworth.k12.us and you will arrive at the new official EHS website designed by Wesley Eggebrecht and friends. Wes is an artist, and he uses Microsoft’s Frontpage for creating his website designs. Since it is the school’s website, its content changes daily...like those cool banners that float across in front of your eye! Nice job, Wes!
The Visual Imaging program students, Melissa Kincaid and Samantha Joseph, completed a web design last fall based on nature and a natural color scheme for the Antrim Conservation District. The software of choice was Macromedia Dreamweaver MX. They were able to get some great photos touring the district and ACD rewarded them handsomely with a check for our program!
Two new sites are under construction by Visual Imaging students Rachel Barraw, Rick Diebold, Tony Melin and Kevin Hersha. They are working with Antrim County Planner Howard Yamaguchi and Antrim Creek Natural Area Commission member Mary Kay McDuffie to develop a public website that showcases the newly dedicated ACNA property.
These students are also beginning to create the first Banks Township website, which is in the planning/developing stage.
Chris Vanderslik, our Journalism techie, has designed and manages the Journalism webpage. Featuring the Lancer Days, it has a black, white, and red design made in Dreamweaver MX. It has been up for a year now - watch for 2003 Lancer Days articles!
